Product Overview
The RS-DP-03R 6-Axis Robot Automatic Drop Tester is designed for automated directional drop testing of smartphones, tablets, portable electronics and electronic components.
It integrates a 6-axis robot, 12-sample handling system, machine vision and automatic orientation control into one test platform. Once the specimen dimensions and drop sequence are programmed, the system can automatically complete pickup, face/edge/corner positioning, free-fall release, post-impact recovery and preparation for the next drop.
Designed for repeated reliability testing, the RS-DP-03R reduces manual handling between drops and supports continuous automated test sequences.

Working Principle
The operator first defines the specimen dimensions, drop height, impact positions, drop sequence and number of drops in the test software.
The RS-DP-03R then coordinates sample loading, robotic handling, orientation adjustment, free-fall release and post-impact recovery automatically.

Key Features
Automatic pickup, transfer, positioning and recovery reduce repeated manual handling throughout the drop sequence.
- Automatic Face · Edge · Corner Positioning
The 0 to ±180° rotation mechanism automatically positions specimens for programmed face, edge and corner drops.
- Automatic Drop-Height Compensation
Drop position is automatically adjusted according to specimen dimensions and impact orientation.
The XYZ loading system supports up to 12 specimens for sequential automatic testing.
A 12 MP industrial camera locates specimens after impact and assists robotic pickup and reorientation.
- Programmable Test Sequences
Set drop height, orientation, sequence and drop count for repeatable automated testing.
